Need input on which tile to use on threshold

We're winding down on our master bath remodel and have come to a point I had not considered: what to do with the vertical space on the bathroom side of the shower stall threshold. Our floor is 12x12 matte finish tile on a diagonal. The top of the threshold is a solid piece of our polished quartz countertop. The walls of the shower are 10x13 polished tile with a mosaic on the floor in a matte finish. I'm inclined to use the polished tile on the outside but started to second guess myself when looking at pictures on Houzz.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Great question! I think I have the same problem. Does the vertical side of the shower curb get the same tile as the bathroom floor or the shower walls?

I tend to use the shower wall tile on the vertical curb surfaces.
