penny round tile on shower floor

I wanted to use penny round tile on the shower floor and throughout the bathroom.

I'm worried that it might not be appropriate for the shower floor because it might be too thin or slippery?

Do they need to be a certain thickness? Anything else I should look out for if I want to put penny round or small hexagonal tile in the shower floor?

The numerous grout lines will provide traction underfoot.

Just have an even slope on the floor so the tiles don't roll up and down. Also be aware that the slope of the floor can sometimes skew sheets of mosaic ever so slightly as they are set. Instead of ending up with a continuous floor of uniform mosaic hex, you can see the outline of the individual 12" sheets.
