How should the tile join the sheetrock?

My tile guys finished tiling the shower a couple of days ago, and I am expecting the sheetrock guy to come back in the next few days.
The picture is my shower pony wall that is beside a (soon-to-be) vanity. The gap is the thickness of the backer board, about 3/4".
What would you do with this gap... let the sheetrock guy handle it, have the tile guys come back and tile it somehow, or any other option?
