How to price a good quality vent fan in bathroom?

How much should you pay for a good quality--quiet motor that moves at least 50 CFM per minute?

got scope of work on master bath remodel that included a $300 allowance for a vent fan AND lights--which I think won't cover what needs to be done--especially since we want recessed in one area w/shower and toilet and then new lights over the dual vanity...

This is a Panasonic Whisper Green 80 cfm fan that runs $161 on Amazon. It's an excellent fan.

We chose the model with an LED light and night light included, but not the timer or remote. Ours was $240. DH and electrician just installed the thing and turned on the fan. I had to listen hard to hear it!

You're right, $300 is on the skimpy side, but it can be done.

I wouldnt have any fan other than a panasonic. Make sure you choose one with enough cfm's.
