How to reglue bathroom cabinet mirrors

Hi folks,

I have a medicine cabinet with mirrored doors attached to the wall in my bathroom. The other day one of the mirrors fell off. It appeared to have been originally glued to the metal door plate and then re-glued at some later time. The mirrors have a paper-sticker material on their backs, presumably to prevent the glue from damaging the mirror. Any suggestions on what type of glue to use to reattach them, and also how to keep the mirror in place while it dries? I don't seem to be able to remove the doors, looks to be bolted on. I was thinking duct tape or clips of some kind. Any advice would be helpful. Can provide photos if necessary.

Mirror Mastic / Gunther from a glass shop and duct tape to hold it until the glue sets should be perfect.

Hi and thanks. I have a product called "No More Nails" that seems like it would do the trick, any idea if it would be suitable in this case? My understanding is that "mirror safe" products are special only because they won't chemically damage the mirror, but I'm wondering if the paper-sticker backing won't create a protective layer in between? Perhaps I'm wrong and Mirror Mastic is recommended also for it's holding power.

No idea about "No More Nails" but were it me and it did not specifically say ok to use on mirror I would not use it. Better to spend $5 on a tube of the correct adhesive then have to remove the ruined mirror and start all over with a new mirror and the correct adhesive. Call me crazy but.........

Haha, I think you're probably right. Cutting corners and trying to save a few bucks doesn't often turn out well. Thanks again.
