Have you looked at recycled glass countertops?

They can fit your theme yet not be so over-the-top to go overboard.

The oak vanity? It sounds out of place if it'll be a traditional stained oak. Whitewashed oak maybe? Or a vanity painted a light pastel color?

Why not a blue granite if you can coordinate it with your floor color (or pick a granite and wait on the floor tile until you have it, then coordinate it with the granite).
