Slipper Tub

I recently purchased an acrylic claw foot slipper tub and was told that I would need to attach it to the floor to prevent it from moving and breaking the plumbing. Can anyone tell me the best way to accomplish this? I have wood floors and a pier and beam construction.

I installed a claw foot tub in a bathroom renovation a couple of years ago...... we did not secure it to the floor. After it was installed, we decided that it wasn't going anywhere and didn't need attached to the floor.
