Double vanity in alcove

Hi all,
Big remodel starting later this year. Master bath, farmhouse style. Just got a 1904 clawfoot tub at salvage to fix up to give you an idea of what we are going for. Beadboard on walls and probably a "fake" wood floor with some porcelain (large format) tiles.

The current layout has a 6' "niche" that is currently plumbed for a double sink. It has a horrible builder grade low cabinets with a cultured marble top.

So my options are:
1) replace with a similar design (3 sides hidden in niche) with a nicer cabinet/doors/countertop
Pro: lots of counter space, nothing wasted
Con: Not really as attractive, might look out of place with the more rustic / traditional elements

2) replace with a furniture style vanity that almost fills the entire space but would have small gaps around the border
Pro: Still a lot of counter space. Nicer look
Con: small gap seems like it would just catch things falling off the edge. Might look "cramped"

3) replace with a 5' double vanity, furniture style.
Pro: won't look cramped, nice look,
Con: larger gap means less countertop area.

For an idea of what we're looking at (style-wise)

(maybe even one notch more rustic than that).

Thoughts, ideas? Bath is 9x13, so not tiny. Graphic when I get a chance later.

Thanks,
Anthony
