Hi all. As part of a kitchen remodel, I've asked our contractor to do some other smaller jobs, one of which was to fix a leaky showerhead. I never really liked the showerhead. It's handheld and I've always just used the simple kind that's fixed to the wall.

Fixing the leak is a little more involved than I had hoped and it looks like the hose connected to the showerhead needs to be replaced. The generic one didn't work, so they have to get the same kind. Ugh! I hate the idea of spending money to replace something I don't even like.

I can't simply replace the old showerhead with the kind I'd like because the location of the fixture is lower. Has anyone done this before? Moving the fixture to accomodate a new kind if showerhead sounds expensive. i haven't mentioned it to my contractor yet, but I'm tempted.
