I have some mirrors, framed, in a gold-ish, dated frame. i would like it to go better with my oil rubbed bronze fixtures. can i spray paint the frame? or should i ditch them?

Sure, why not? Lots of folks use ORB spray paint for all sorts of things.

i think it depends on which color you do.. I have been happy with results using the rustoleum metallic spray paints in bronze but not so happy with the copper. but sounds like you want bronze, so i say go for it!

After you spraypaint with rustoleum, I would suggest "Rub and buff" (you can find it at Michaels or any craft store) to further play with the finish....It comes in all sorts of finishes and is very easy to use....you simply wipe it on with a cloth, and it really adds more depth to the finish. I would say absolutely---paint them! I've done that with several things in my home with great success
