| I recently had new sheetrock put up on the ceiling of my bathroom. Now when I flip the switch for the ceiling fan, I have to wait 3 or 4 seconds before the fan starts running. Before the sheetrock was put up, the fan would start right away. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks. |

| No one here seems to know - maybe ask this in the electrical wiring forum... |
|
| There could be a lot if reasons. The fan is wedged in place. The motor filled up with dirt The blades are bent The motor could be old There is something blocking the airflow There is something touching the outer tip of the blades |
