Sealed grout still looks wet?

I was noticing that the grout in my shower looked to be soaking up water and mildewing. I had sealed it back in October, but thought maybe it needed to be sealed again. I put one coat of sealer on, and the next day put another. During the second coat, the sealant wasn't absorbing and the color of the grout wasn't changing, so I thought it was soaked in. After taking a shower though, the grout looked to be getting wet. Is this normal? Do I need to find a different grout sealer?

Looking wet is pretty normal. "Sealing" is commonly misunderstood. A sealer does NOT make it waterproof, it only inhibits staining and makes it a bit easier to clean...
