The top rendering is beautiful, love the colors used. It looks warm and inviting, not remotely sad. I don't care for the green at all. Yes, operating room.

thanks, linelle, I like that one, too (even though my best friend says it looks like a restaurant!). I have to rethink the vanity as it is very expensive (they want 10,000 euro for both vanities, and nothing else).

I like the top photo over the bottom one, but feel the gray color is too bland looking.

I also like the first photo over the second.

BTW - my OR is not green.

I think the second picture is more about the fixtures, and not the color, that make it look clinical. In the spirit of what Mdln says, I've not seen a green OR either :)

There are no windows in either rendering. Without any source of natural light I would be inclined to go with a lighter color, or at least a couple of light walls/ceiling to brighten it up some.

They do look a bit institutional or if a builder did something generic to please the majority of customers. Something is missing ...

Where's the fun stuff? Towel bars with bright towels. Throw rugs in front of the sink and tub? Art on the walls? Soap dispensers? Kleenex boxes? Put some color in that room.

My MB is gray/black/white. Introducing a color (pick one) makes it pop from drab to fun. And the neat part is that I get to change the pop colors at will.

I like both of the pictures, but imo, you have to have just the right house to pull off a bathroom like that.

I'd go with a medium or even darker blue.

I'd pick the materials first. Trying to coordinate the undertones of tile/countertop/cabs to an existing paint color is the hard way to go about it!

I love the green. It is about the same color as my bathroom. I have white woodwork, white sinks, a skylight and plenty of light over the mirror. Also have white towels. You need plenty of light, either natural or artificial, or a combination of both in a small room with darker paint. My floor is lighter than the walls.

The 2nd photo, to me, is reminiscent of beach glass. I like it better than the first.
