 o
Garage door hinges in vanity tower ?? Anniedeignnaugh ?

Posted by lillo (My Page) on

Any idea what kind of hinges to use to open the face up for a tower garage ? I came across a thread from January , that was for smart storage ideas . Anniedeighnaugh mentioned that there was a latch or a hinge like the one from the toy boxes. I hope somebody will tell me what to use , so I won't go to what my GC suggested to flip it down.
Any feedback will be appreciated .thank you

A picture or drawing would help.

Don't know what you would call it other than a locking hinge. Maybe something like this link:

Personally, I don't care for a large panel swinging up in your face.

But here's a link. Also you can try Rockler - they sell a lot of cabinet hardware

Thank you guys , I think I found what I wanted . It's made by Blum , it either lifts the door vertically or horizontally . Thank you again .

Have you considered using a regular door that opens right or left, rather than up?

You are on the right track.

Blum Aventos has the hardware you are looking for.
