I'm afraid that there are just too many variables to give you a credible answer to your question. Ceramic tile can run from less than a dollar per foot to more than $100 per foot. Glass enclosures can range in price just as dramatically. My recommendation is, since you will need framing, plumbing and other finishes, is that you contact a few general contractors local to you and ask them to give you pricing on both options.
