The sconces aren't installed yet, and it's not quite finished... but I'm so pleased with it, I wanted to share it anyway.

I am on the side of giant mirrors... I know there was a post here questioning if they've gone out of style, but the difference it's made in our smallish bath is fantastic. The room is instantly larger and brighter. If you're on the fence about it, I can't recommend it enough.

Love the way both mirrors provide a back-of-the-head look for grooming. I sure hope you've taken into account the opened medicine cabinet door - sconce contact point. Devil is in the details. . .

It's looking great, really coming together beautifully.

I had the same thought as lizb... sometimes the reality gets in the way of perfectly wonderful plans.

Yes! Thankfully we've planned for the sconce/cabinet face off.
It took a lot of looking for a low-profile lamp that I loved... but I found them.
I was worried that it would still be too close, but it's going to exceed my best-case scenario.

Alternately, we could have done a multi-light fixture centered at the top, but I really love the look (and extra light) of two sconces through the mirror.
