Kohler tea for 2 or Kathryn tub

Posted by eastbaymomof3 (My Page) on

Has anyone had these tubs? I am considering the 66 inch long one which is quite tall - 24 inch to use as a tub/shower. I have read elsewhere problems with Tea for 2 drain. Please let me know. I prefer cast iron for our 1919 home.
Thank you.

RE: Kohler tea for 2 or Kathryn tub

Both are suitable for alcove installation with an integral tile flange if you buy the correct model (be sure to specify correctly to the contractor or showroom) but the Tea for 2 is more modern looking than Kathryn if that's important to you. It's also an inch and a half or so deeper soaking depth. But both are much more modern looking than something like the Iron Works with one of those great looking circular shower curtains.
