we need to install exhaust fans on the bathroom window wall. the window is quite small.

can i install two 4" exhaust fans side by side instead of one big 8" fan ?

the bathroom is 8 feet height X 8 feet length X 8 feet width. the window is near the shower area.

Why wouldn't you just install the one larger fan?

I would guess you can, but one big fan will work more efficiently than 2 small ones.

I can't say for certain without seeing in person.

I installed a fan in my shower. Love it. No steam gets out to the mirror and I really take hot showers.
