Mixing Manufacturers Toilet/Tub/Sinks - Color Compare?

Posted by dancingqueen (My Page) on

We have decided on a Toto Drake Toilet but are between a Victoria and Albert, MTI or Bain Ultra tub and like both a Kohler and a Kingston Brass sink. Is there a list of how the colors compare? So is Toto Cotton most similar to Kohler White? How did you manage to select your colors so they went well with one another? The tub and toilet are quite close together. I am less concerned with the sinks. Thanks for any advice.

I don't know if there is a list but I wouldn't be surprised if there were. The first fixture that we chose was an MTI Harmony tub, purchased online, and we went with the Biscuit color because I had heard that most manufacturers' Biscuit would be the same color, including Kohler. We relied on our local plumbing showroom salesperson's advice when we ultimately decided on Toto undermount sinks and a Toto Guinevere toilet. She told us that Toto's version of Biscuit is called Sedona Beige. They look great in the room together.
