Metal beadboard cap?

Posted by chrisexv6 (My Page) on

Made the decision to add beadboard to our small bathroom remodel. Im using the 4x8 sheets of plywood beadboard from the local BORG.

For base Im going to use a simple squared off trim (no profile on it) with a rabbet cut into it to "receive" the beadboard...going for a sleek lines kind of look

As for the cap, I was going to use the same, but got to wondering....has anyone ever seen a *metal* cap for beadboard? Ive seen something similar for tile, you mortar it to the wall and then the tile slides right in. But Im looking more for something that can be screwed to the wall that the beadboard can then slide into.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
