 o
nonskid bottom on cast iron tubs

I want to buy a cast iron alcove tub (toto or kohler). I'm wondering if the nonskid bottoms feel yucky. Has anyone taken a bath in this kind of tub? Can you tell me how the nonskid surface feels? Thanks for your help.

I've never used a toto, but the kohler is fine, not really noticeable the way the non-skiddy stuff can be on a cheap fiberglas tub, for instance.

We have the Kohler & it is well-done from that respect. Do note that the nonskid stuff they are putting on pretty much all the tub bottoms can be hard to clean--Bar Keepers Friend works the best for us. Hope this helps!
