need advice about size of sink

My husband and I are starting to remodel a bathroom at our riverside retreat. We plan a 60 inch vanity base made with cabinetry with one sink - 30 inch section flanked by two 15 inch drawer units on each side.
I was looking at options for the sink. What size and shape do you think are best? oval? rectangle? round? I do not want the sink to look like a trough but dinky is not good either. It will be undermount or integrated. Your suggestions are welcomed. The bathroom will be used by guests - mostly my kids and grands. The bathroom was a porch originally 1930's or so. We are going for a vintage cottagey look. Floors is whitewashed pine. Cabinets - butterscotch glaze from Diamond. subway tile wainscote. The vanity will be the only cabinetry. Thanks for taking the time to send me our thoughts.

We are planning on our bathroom reno too. I personally would prefer a round/oval shape sink as they are easier to clean. Another key feature is to make sure you get a sink with an overflow feature.
