need advice about size of sink

My husband and I are starting to remodel a bathroom at our riverside retreat. We plan a 60 inch vanity base made with cabinetry with one sink - 30 inch section flanked by two 15 inch drawer units on each side.
I was looking at options for the sink. What size and shape do you think are best? oval? rectangle? round? I do not want the sink to look like a trough but dinky is not good either. It will be undermount or integrated. Your suggestions are welcomed. The bathroom will be used by guests - mostly my kids and grands. The bathroom was a porch originally 1930's or so. We are going for a vintage cottagey look. Floors is whitewashed pine. Cabinets - butterscotch glaze from Diamond. subway tile wainscote. The vanity will be the only cabinetry. Thanks for taking the time to send me our thoughts. |

| We are planning on our bathroom reno too. I personally would prefer a round/oval shape sink as they are easier to clean. Another key feature is to make sure you get a sink with an overflow feature. |
