| I'm trying to decide whether to take down my large, wall-to-wall vanity mirror and have it cut narrower to allow room to put sconces on each side, or buy a smaller mirror. I don't really like the sconces through the mirror look. Then I found this picture with the sconces on the side walls of the alcove, I'm thinking that might work for my space, but not sure about the lighting effect with the lights mounted that way. Has anyone else done this, and if so, do you like it? |
Here is a link that might be useful: Sconces on side walls

| No difference on lighting effect really with the bases mounted on the side rather than the back wall, as long as the globe of the sconce is in about the same distance from the mirror. |
