You could always buy 2 shower curtains and make the curtains.

Or like lukkiirish said but opposite: find a great window treatment and buy a matching drape. Hang the drape on the outside of a solid white (or cream or whatever matches your fixtures) waterproof curtain. You may need to get rings with clips rather than the typical shower curtain rings; or add some button holes or grommets to the top of the drape. Be sure to measure the length you'll need as many drapes are longer than shower curtains (but might come in multiple lengths.)

Thanks folks. I don't sew a lick, so that is out. and to do the grommet thing is beyond my expertise. I am such a klutz when it comes to these things. I can plant a garden, and put the food up in lovely jars, and I can actually mow a lawn, and do all that.but to do "ladylike" things, well I never could grasp the how to's. lol I have a friend here on the creek that told me to go and buy a plain kitchen curtain, and then drape a garland of flowers similar to those in the shower curtain over the top. Yep that will sure make it look nice. So off to Hobby Lobby to see what I can come up with there.

Thanks folks

Helen

helen, Don't let the fact that you don't sew set you back, surely there is someone in your area that does seamstress work. In our area, there are college kids who do that for extra cash and it shouldn't cost and arm and/or a leg to get it done. You might even try your local sewing shop(s) to see if anyone has left a card, look in your local advertiser or even check with the local college.

RE: Bath curtains

Hi Helen, I'm re-doing my bathroom and wanted a "lavender" theme. In searching the internet, I came upon www.saffronmarigold.com. They make handblocked curtains, shower curtains, table cloths, etc. Worth a browse to see if anything interests you. They're a bit pricey and shipping costs on internet purchases always irritates me but I bit the bullet and bought the Lavender Dreams curtains and shower curtains. Just hung the curtains last week and they're beautiful and I'm very pleased with my selection.
