Kohler Memoirs with Modern Faucet?

| Have any of you paired a more modern faucet with the Kohler Memoirs pedestal sink? I am in the process of updating my main bathroom and currently have a Kohler memoirs pedestal sink and toilet that I really like and don't want to replace. However, I would like to have a more contemporary/modern feel to the bathroom.
I have brushed nickel finishes and just purchased a Hansgohe allrounder raindance with their exposed thermostatic tub filler.

| I don't have the pedestal, but I do have the Memoirs sinks in a contemporary bathroom. The faucets are brushed nickel.

| I'm far from installation, but I have a whitehaus luxe widespread faucet for a 30" kohler memoirs sink. I liked the look of the two together. don't have any pics, though - probably two weeks away from that. |

| We just installed Memoirs Stately pedestal sink and toilet and I put Grohe Seabury fixtures in brushed nickel and they look great! |

| Modern...as in a single piece faucet? I don't know if I'm any help, but I used the memoirs stately faucet. I think it's classic, but contemporary.
