heated airtub options

I am looking for a new tub as part of a bathroom remodel. Living in a cold climate, the most important feature for me is keeping the water warm during the bath. I am not a big fan of whirlpool jets (and have an outside hot tub with jets) so I thought I would go with an air tub. The other feature that I THINK I want is a decent reclining angle. I lay in a MAAX tub in one of the few showrooms we have that felt perfect with a 135 degree reclining angle. The only two companies I can find so far that have a heated inline water system (not just heated bubbles) for an air tub are MTI and Hydromasage. Only hydromasage seems to go over 120 degree recline. Any opinions on these two companies? Thanks for the input!

I have an MTI Caribe. We went w/ the radiant heat feature instead of an inline water heater (I had a hard time deciding). I LOVE my tub. We live in PA and keep our house at 64 in the winter & 68 in the summer. I love getting into the tub w/ the radiant heat on and the sides/back are warm. The water has never gotten cold.

I would recommend MTI absolutely. I also like that you can customize the tubs.

Haven't bought it yet, but have a purchase order for a Bain Ultra tub with Geysair. ("The operating principle behind Geysair is simple: it heats and humidifies the jets of air so they retain their warmth.") It also has a heated backrest.

Bain lists the slopes of their tubs differently from you, ie the slope of the model I am ordering is 29 degrees, so how is a 135 degree angle being measured? The only info I could find on ergonomic backrests was that a 28 degree angle was considered optimal.

But, of course the most important aspect is how comfortable it feels. I am assuming there may be a safety factor involved if the slope is too great?
