Wood look tiles next to real wood/color difference??

We are re-doing our kids'/ hall bath. DH and I really like the look of wood tiles, but our hallway floor is light colored brown hardwood. We love the weathered gray tile. Would it look strange? Or okay because it is a separate room?

I think it would be OK

It's totally fine IMO, I have a woodlook tile throughout, and real wood in a few areas. The colors don't match, yet the transition looks seamless. One last tip.. skip the door saddle if you can. Tile right up to hardwood is a-ok.
