Which wall mount toilet

We are planning a bathroom remodel. It will be down to the studs job regardless and I'd like to have a wall mount toilet installed for ease of cleaning.

I gather that there are two pieces to this, the carrier and the bowl. As best I can tell, the carriers all work fine and so I will likely defer to my GC unless someone has a reason to prefer one over another. I know some require 4 x 6 studs for installation, and again, I'm planning to defer to my GC to figure out which to go with on that point (not only will we be down to the studs anyway, but he's going to be reconfiguring that wall to make a washer and dryer fit into an adjacent closet.)

For the bowl, I'm looking at the toto maris or the kohler veil because they are skirted and so have fewer nooks and crannies to clean. Any thoughts on one over the other? Or if there is some issue with both, an alternative suggestion?

I have a Toto Maris ready to install. But I bought the Geberit in wall tank rather than the Toto tank - reason being, the Toto tank requires an adapter for a 2 x 4 wall and I understand the adapter reduces the drain size, but Geberit accepts a 2 x 4 with no reduction in drain size. also, Geberit has been around forever, and the in wall tank from Toto is a new product. FYI, I got everything, including a very nice metal (not plastic) flush button unit, from Amazon.

Can't wait to get mine installed - we bought ours because of space concerns in our powder room, but also planning to use one in our master bath remodel for ease of cleaning as you mentioned.

I have a Geberit tank and will be installing a Toto toilet.

The Kohler products are relatively new and don't have the long track record of Toto or Geberit for this particular application.

We are trying to decide between the Toto Maris, Duravit Darling or Kohler Veil...does anyone have any feedback? Particularly with how well they flush.

We did install the Toto Maris with the Geberit tank as described above. The flushing works fine but I concur with what others have posted about the Maris wall mounted toilet - it has a very small water spot and subject to skid marks if one is not positioned just so when having a BM. Other than that, we love our wall mounted install and are planning to do the same in another bath.

Thank you, numbersjunkie--this is super helpful! I would imagine that the Toto Aquia has the same 'interior' design as the Maris. I think we're going to go ahead and go with one of these!
