We are willing to move the location of the windows, plumbing, door to closet, etc. We just have to work within the basic footprint of the 2 spaces.

I'm not very good at drawing out ideas, but in general we want a tub, WC room, larger shower (steam), 2 vanities (connected or not; maybe with make-up area), storage cabinet that includes our laundry basket and some open towel storage.

As far as style we would like some unfitted elements, like the storage cabinet could be a free-standing piece, the tub can be free-standing, and we are going for sand-n-sea colors.

Currently there are woodfloors throughout the entire downstairs. We haven't had any problems with having wood in there, but since we are remodling we can address whether we want to keep those or change to tile.

How do you use the little hallway area? Would you consider making that a vestibule entry to the master suite, with openings to the closet, bath, and bed areas? Then you could close up both sets of French doors, which would give you more wall space in the bathroom to place everything else.

I'd consider this:
-on the bottom left (current cab + sink), make it a longer double sink that extends to the closet door.
-Bump the closet wall out 12" to remove the step and square off the bathroom area.
-Extend the shower about 3' to the left: plenty big for 2 shower heads, steam, etc.
-Put the cabinets to the left of the shower, where there's currently a sink + cabinet.
