Porcelain, and spray it with "Clean Shower" after every shower. You won't have to ever clean it again. I have 2x2 floor with regular sanded grout and the stuff works fine on that on that. Make sure you have a good fan too.

This tile will be on the bathroom floor as well. It will be the kids' bathroom and the bathroom guests use as there us no powder room in the house.

We have a 12'' x 24'' porcelain tile on both our shower floor (and shower walls) and the bathroom floor. We have a linear drain as well. There is a bit of a texture present on the tiles, and they are matte, not polished. The texture helps with the COF, but does not seem to affect the ease of cleaning at all. We did do a ''slippery test'' with them in the shower with soap on our feet prior to deciding if they would work. Here's a photo of one of the tiles:

crl-The tile is by Tierra Sol; it is a porcelain and the line is Impronta Materia-D. The color we used is Tortora if I remember correctly. I'll post a link below.

We have 24 x 24 on our shower floor. It is porcelain with a good COF. We just took our first showers on it a couple of days ago. It is matte and with a slight texture, but I don't think it is the texture that gives it the grippiness, exactly. It's not like it has deep grooves in it or anything.

I actually noticed that it is less slippery under bare feet when wet than it is when I'm scuffing around on it dry with socks on. So the concern about slip-sliding in the shower is not something I'm worried about any more. (We didnt' get epoxy grout this time because our tiler was old-school, but we did use charcoal and sealed it, so I don't think keeping it clean will be a big issue. I'll just spray it down when I clean the walls.)
