I don't know anything about this sink, but wow! It is gorgeous!!!!

Wow. I love that- gorgeous. I got tired of my hammered copper and got rid of it because I had to wipe it out with every use. This sink looks like you would have to do that too.

I am so glad someone else is considering a stainless steel bathroom sink. Consumer Reports did give stainless the highest rating for bathroom sinks in terms of resistance to dings, cracks,etc. The two major mfrs. I've been able to find are Elkay and Kohler, both well-respected. Both have instructions on how to care for the finish and do mention that, depending on the hardness of your water, you can end up with water spots. They suggest dabbing the sink dry after each use with a soft cloth. Also certain abrasive cleaners are not recommended, so check with Elkay. So, if you don't mind a little extra care to keep the finish looking lovely, I'd go for it. It would be like jewelry in your bathroom! And with stainless, you won't end up with the crack like we have in our old porcelain master sink, where DH dropped his electric razor. :-(

Thanks everyone, that is helpful. Disappointing though because I really don't envision myself (or DH!) keeping up with dabbing the sink dry after every use. I'll have to think about this.

Oooooo, that's beautiful! That would be stunning in a powder room. Although, our powder room is the only first floor bath so it gets used the most of all... not too likely to get wiped down after each use either.
