Building a new home and considering modular steam shower

I'm building a new home and am considering having the builder install a modular steam shower (not a custom built shower). Does anyone have experience with a modular unit and can provide their input? What brands did you consider? From my research, these typically cost $2500-$4500 depending on features/size. I'm intrigued by the steam shower but not sure of the modular's dependability.

We are renovating our master bathroom and are also considering a modular steam shower, so I hope those with experience will chime in. We did learn that you can mix and match enclosure mfrs. and steam generator mfrs, e.g., put our preferred Thermasol generator in with an enclosure from a mfr. which typically includes a different mfr's steam generator.

I realize your post is a few months old, but we are also trying to decide on the modular steam showers for our upcoming master bath remodel. Did either one of you decide to use one?

Our builder said they could not supply modular steam unit. Therefore we are putting in a regular shower.
