We're planning to re-do our shower in standard subway tiles (3" by 6"). I've been to Home Depot and some Tile shops around the area. The tiles look the same to me from the various stores, but Home Depot definitely has the cheapest price.

So my question is: are all subway tiles created the same? Should I go for the cheapest?

Or is there a specific brand / maker that's better?

And if some are better than others - what's the difference?
