If you remodel the tile floor and install cement board which was not previously used as part of the subfloor, and perhaps even use medium bed mortar to lay the tile, the overall height of the subfloor and the total floor might be more than what was previously there. If so, how does this affect reattaching the toilet? I'm thinking it would sit higher up off the drain and therefor not attach properly.
