New black quartz counter top hazy & marks easily

Just install black quartz counters in my master bath. I noticed a few days after installation that they appeared hazy and anything, including my fingernails, could leave surface marks that can't be wiped or magic erased away.
Of course, both the dealer & distributor claim their pieces are fine - has anyone else had this happen? What can I do to fix my tops? Thank you.
