I just finished 2 basketweave floors. While not hex, still a hex-of-a-lot of grout. I used a light gray toned grout, "platinum", not sure of manufacturer. Seems to disguise "wear" areas, and I'm a decent enough housekeeper.
Don't know your color scheme, but I've seen dark gray, almost black grout with white hex tile. Dramatic!

I am leaning to black and white. The black grout with white tile would be fantastic! And I wouldn't have to put in those little black daisies.
