| recently bought an old house 1760
has a small basement. looks like a lot of moisture. wires are rusty. we have decided to gut one part of the house which has a crawl space and dirt floor. we are thinking of having cement poured. there is a dirt odor, will this take care of the problem? |

| I have had a similar problem. It seems that old dirt can have a strong smell. Concrete will help but there may be mold inside the walls that will still have a smell. You really need to find where the moisture is coming from and stop the source. |
