 o
odd-sized basement entry door

I need to replace an odd-sized entry door for my basement. The existing door is 71 1/4 x 31 1/2 inches.

Should I buy a door of similar width and cut it to match the height? What should the door be made of? Aesthetics are not important. The basement has had a moisture problem so ideally I would prefer not to use a wood door.

Thanks.
Ryan

might you be able to custom order....may beat the aggravation of custom fitting it...

I'm concerned that a custom order will take a while, even if I want something very simple. Right now my basement has no exterior door, so I've boarded up the door in my kitchen that leads down to the basement. The basement is unfinished and empty, but I still want to get a door on it ASAP.
