I am planning to replace basement windows as a part of finising my basement. Current windows has aluminium Frame attached to the cinder blocks with cement. Is it necessary to break the wall ( or edges) to remove existing aluminium frame to install new windows? current size is 28X32. Any recommondation or your experience will be helpful.
Thanks,
Sam

The company that installed my glass block just took a crow bar to the old frames and they came right out. What kind of windows are you going to install? For what they charged me to install the glass block, was probly less then what it would have cost me to do it myself.
