Where can I buy Dricore or Subflor in the US?

Hi everyone. I'm in the middle of a home remodel and am trying to find a flooring solution for our basement that we're converting into a master suite/laundry/office. (It's more like a walk-out basement on slab with only 3 feet of one side partially underground). In one half of the space the ceilings are quite low and I've become interested in Dricore and Subflor after reading about them on this site, since they're both only 7/8" thick.

But do they only sell this stuff in Canada? I can't find a single place that sells this kind of subfloor system locally or even online. None of my workers have ever heard of it either, though they think it's a fantastic idea. Is there some reason why it's not sold in the states? Does it not pass our building regulations or something? Is there a similar product that would work that I can buy here (I'm in Northern California)? I'd love to not have to raise our floors anymore than we'd have to in order to keep the chill (and moisture) out. I'd love some advice!

I went to Home Depot and nobody working there had heard of it, figures. I'll try again. Is it a special order?

I also just read about the Delta-FL system which also looks like it would work. Does anyone have experience with it? I was wondering too if you could tile over Delta-FL since it doesn't need to float like Dricore?

Here in the Atlanta area Home Depot stopped carrying it last year (right before I needed it). Customer service at DriCore first tried to find a retailer close by, then agreed to ship it directly to me. Even with the shipping, it was only nominally more expensive than Home Depot's retail.

I was walking through the flooring section at Lowes just the other day and saw a sign mentioning it as a special order item.

Also, if I remember correctly, the DriCore site has a store locator function.

I bought Subflor at Lowe's in 2005 to finish our basement floor so it would stay warmer and drier down there. It is fantastic but a bit pricey. I just started looking for it again because I am in a new house now and want to use it again to finish my basement but I can't seem to find it available in US either. It's such a great product I'm surprised it isn't more popular. It also is a safe way to avoid hitting a hard concrete basement floor if someone falls!
