What is the best way to remove these rebars that stick out everywhere on my poured concrete basement walls? I am in the process of putting XPS down on the walls but need to get rid of these bars first. I was able to pull one out but the others are pretty stuck in there. Should I patch up the holes when finished removing them? Water has never leaked out of them. Or should I just put the XPS through them? It will kinda help out with keeping them to the wall better.

| They're form ties that should have been removed by whoever stripped the forms. A couple of whacks with a heavy hammer or sledge will remove them. |
