| Poured concrete walls 8-10". Permit lists out as "unfinished" so the engineered floor joist will need to have insulation for code. I was thinking of having an open "commercial warehouse" look to the ceiling by painting the rafters eventually after we move in, so I hate to put up insulation for inspection. My GC says he can do a "conditioned crawl" which would require putting insulation on the exterior walls. Can anyone help with this? Recommendations? I also wanted the look of exposed poured walls to paint or stain. Is there a problem with this? We live in central VA. |
