Hi,

I'm new here, and I"m looking for a good dehumidifier to buy for my basement. Currently, what I have found is DeLonghi DE400 40-Pint Dehumidifier, it seem to be recommended as best basement dehumidifier at here best dehumidifier blog (model & price). I'm not sure whether this DeLonghi DE400 is good buy or not, any idea? Or anyone here who has used this Delongi DE400 dehumidifier before, please share. Thanks:)

RE: Looking for a dehumidifier for my basement

how big is your basement? Is it finished? We have an almost 800 sq ft basement in the process of being finished. We use a 40 pinter as well. My humidistat readu around 50% in the summer---it gets the job done. We are on only our secong Kenmore model in the last 20 years.
