| Hi. I'm finishing my basement now. we got the permit. finished framing, wiring, lighting, and insulation. waiting for the 2nd inspection. Then i will put the drywall up and ceiling. I'm not planning to do the flooring right now. Its concrete right now. Will there be a problem in issuing the Certificate of Occupancy ?
Thanks in advance for replying. |

| Not sure where you live, but in my area there would be no problem getting your CO. A basement is not considered to be square footage that has to be finished before occupancy. |

| We are in TN and the code is pretty strict here. |

| Only your town code official can answer that question. |
