Leveling the concrete floor

Hi

I have a "bumpy" basement floor and I want to install "Drocore" on it. I need to level the basement to some extent first(It is not needed to be ABSOLUTELY level and smooth based ob dricore web site). Can I use self leveling compound? What about using shingles to level it. The difference between some poits on the floor is about 1-1.5 inches.

Sounds like that would be an enormous amount of leveling compound, and it sets very quickly. You probably could never mix a large enough amount to pour it all at once.
