Has anyone ever used/heard of/downloaded this guy's book? Dave Shcrock - Basement ideas - Exploring the underground frontier.
You can download it for $19 - I was wondering if anyone knows if its worth it?

I saw that site. I decided not to purchase the book though. I did sign up for their newsletter though.
I did get some ideas from webshots, the photo hosting site by looking at what others have done. Its a lot of sifting but there's some good stuff.

I bought the download earlier this year. I thought it was a pretty good buy for $19. It had some good ideas and was chocked full of pictures. Anything in particular you wanted to know about it?

I wanted to get some ideas about space planning, closets/ cabinets- sizing etc., spacing for recessed lights, bar planning - things like that. And see some pics so it sounds like it might be worth a look. Thanks.

I have it. It also came with "plans". The book has a couple of decent pictures. That's what it's good for. The "plans" don't offer dimensions so it's hard to really translate them to your own circumstances.
