Help Identifying CREATURES Found in Damp Basement!

Posted by sem67 (My Page) on

We had a water problem that went undetected for some time in our "about to be finished" basement. We found several of these "creatures" living on the damp carpet. The one in the pictures is about 1 inch in diameter. They look like pasta! I never saw them move, and when I pick them up there is no movement.

Can anyone identify them? I have two pictures, and am not too good at posting pics. I think I can only do one per post. So I'll do a second post after this one.

Please click on the link for the pic.

Thanks!!!
