Basement walls

My basement had a work bench against a wall. I have removed the bench and am now left with just a block wall. The rest of the room has wood paneling. I want to install wood paneling on the block wall but unsure on how to secure it. Do they sell nails that will penetrate the block? Or is there an adhesive that would stick to the bock work?

This is in the far back of the basement and I am not worried about it looking perfect. I just basically want to cover the wall. I would paint the block work but its pretty bad looking.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

RE: Basement walls

I would use an adhesive like Liquid Nails, that's a brand name, ask at your hardware store.
