I am looking for a few other options other than the traditional HD or Lowes 18x24 sump pit. I have seen this one called Grate Sump which is more of a box, but it looks like only certain contractors can purchase them, not the DIYer. (http://www.gratesump.com/)

My current pit which it pathetic (10.5"x10.5"x 15" deep) and it is really limiting my ability for pump selection. I want to install a dual AC setup along with my battery backup, so increasing the basin size is required.

Maybe I am just overlooking the standard pits, but the Grate Sump seems to allow water into it much quicker which is what I really need. I suppose enough holes drilled into the standard basin would work.
