| I am going to be finishing my basement shortly and want to purchase a dehumidifier. I am looking to get a large one such as the Aprilaire 1710A. If I run this on the unfinished side of the basement will be it be effective on the finished side also or do I need to get a unit that I am able to duct into the finished side of the basement? Trying to figure out the best method to have coverage on the finished and unfinished side of the basement. Thanks in advance for the help. |

| I use two in my basement for more even coverage. Just bought a new (to me) brand about two weeks ago and it seems to be doing quite well. Danby. Have used LG and Whirlpool previously. |
